QUALITY POLICY

of the
Republican Design Institute Uzengineering

The Republican Design Institute Uzengineering under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the general contractor for development / adaptation of pre-engineering and engineering documentation in the basic sectors of the national economy, and provides engineering services to foreign and local EPC contractors who implements investment projects in Uzbekistan.

The mission of the Republican Design Institute Uzengineering is to increase the level of localization of engineering works with the gradual replacement of foreign engineering companies’ services in the field of development and implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan.

The Institute is entrusted with important tasks for the nation such as:

• development of the engineering sector in the republic by maximization of localization of development / adaptation processes of pre-engineering/ engineering (detailed) documentation;
• incorporation of advanced methods of engineering works organisation into the engineering process based on advanced foreign experience, in compliance with involvement of foreign project and engineering organizations, assistance in training and development of personnel in the engineering sector;
• incorporation (jointly with foreign EPC contractors) of the "on-the-job-training" system in
  order to train local design engineers in modern design standards and methods during joint project development.

The basic strategy of the Institute is to focus on the Client, to maximize repletion of Client’s wants, to improve the quality of services provided and works performed as per international standards.

In order to achieve these goals, the Institute's personnel masters modern advanced technologies, as well as new areas of engineering and design services. The Institute's personnel formed out of highly qualified specialists who uses modern approaches of execution of the assigned tasks.

In order to further develop the Institute and ensure the fulfillment of the tasks assigned by the Government, the Management of RDI Uzengineering took an obligation to implement, certificate and continuously improve the Quality Management System as per requirements of ISO 9001:2015, as a measure of encouragement of quality and timely execution of Clients requests.

In order to fulfill the obligations taken, the Institute's Management will comply with following requirements:

• continuous improvement of the Quality Management System;
• compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements in all areas of activity;
• execution of engineering and design works at high level of quality that meets the requirements of Clients;
• continuous improvement of the professional and practical level of expertise of the personnel;
• provision of the social security of the team and formation of favorable environment in order to maximize each employee's contribution to the Institute's work.

The management of the Institute guarantees comprehensive support of fulfillment of obligations stated above.
